We do not store your full card details. Payments are handled directly by PayPal, which has its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction metadata.
2.3 Automatically collected information
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect basic server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use analytics tracking cookies or third-party advertising on this website.

- To respond to your enquiries and contact form submissions
- To process donations
- To follow up on cat sightings and reports
- To display your name publicly in connection with donations or leaderboard listings (where you have consented)

4. Public Display of Names
When you make a donation, the name you provide may be displayed publicly on this website (e.g. on a donor leaderboard). By submitting your name, you consent to this public display. If you wish your name to be removed, please contact us at hello@kittyrescue.nz.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:
- Payment processor (PayPal) to complete transactions
- Email service provider (SendGrid) to send transactional emails such as confirmations and notifications

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, and in accordance with any legal requirements. Contact form submissions and cat reports are retained for up to 2 years. Donation and payment records are retained for 7 years for financial record-keeping purposes.
